Regular information to a diverse audience...

Dow is the world's largest supplier of chlorinated organic products and services. For those with an interest in one particularly complex sector - the use of chlorinated solvents for metal cleaning applications - topical information is always in demand. The audiences are wide-ranging, encompassing customers and prospects in the fabrication industry, local government agencies, the HSE and the press. However, keeping such a diverse audience informed on a regular basis could prove an expensive business.

Straight to a desktop...

Once we had a clear grasp of the task in hand, we were certain that an HTML newsletter would prove to be the ideal solution. They can be distributed regularly by email straight to the recipients desktop and for some individuals who, because of the nature of their jobs may not have ready access to the internet, the newsletter can be printed off in hard copy form and mailed.

The Creative Department has a great deal of experience in all facets of this particular medium. From initial editorial structure, information gathering and site photography, through to copy writing and mass e-mailing of the finished newsletter. During the production process we design a template and write the HTML in - house (which can be modified for subsequent editions) - and we have hosting capability too. This approach has proved an immediate success for Dow.

For their particular newsletter, the format is a mixture of application stories, latest technological developments and legislative issues. A case study is featured each time, which provides an in - depth examination of how a particular customer problem was resolved and there are a number of useful links included too.
